The saves are not working for me either, but the vesion is .69a
I thought I lost the access to beta too, because of trying to access it with the link from the “Beta 2 begins” post. That link still leads to the old server, but if you simply click on the Chronicles beta tab it should work, so try that out.

Can’t see the forums, saves are not working, client is still .69a, but I’m getting the ‘please refresh’ .68 version message within the game.

Changelog says it’s version .068, but game says .69A. I have lost my save data. I hope I can get it back. I also can’t view the forums.

Went ahead and wiped both save data and characters to start fresh, but not being prompted for difficulty or penalty selection pre-dungeon. Like others, game says version .69a, but “please refresh (vers. .68)” still coming up.

The site is still in transition, as DNS records propagate. When going to monstrumgames.com, some will arrive here and some (including me) will still land at the old site.
I have disabled the forums here during the transition, to prevent new messages being posted on both copies at once. When the transition is complete, I will do another, final, database tranfer and re-activate them here. In the meantime, you can comment on the beta page if you have something to say.
Your old saved games should be alright once things settle down. It has to do with the directory structure Flash uses on your local machine.

When, roughly, will all this jazz be done? I want to know when I can start playing again. I just found this awesome shield in the store that only clerics can use. It increases their power regen and healing bonus. I didn’t get my money saved up to buy it yet.

I tried to make it as seamless a transition as possible, but I forgot that prior saves wouldn’t work while it switches over.

If you’re desperate to use your old saves right away, there is a method. Use at your own risk, though.
You need to find the directory where your Flash data is stored- on Windows 7 it is: (parts in “” will vary from user to user)
C:\Users\”username”\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\”random letters”\
Find the directory monstrumgames.com and rename it to monstersden.net (delete existing monstersden.net if necessary) Bear in mind that when the transition is finished, you will probably need to rename it back.

Hi, if it seems save data has been lost perhaps now would be a time for new testers who would not mind grinding up and providing great feedback.
i myself have been waiting for quite a few years for this game to be released, and would greatly value a chance to join the beta.
