Monsters’ Den Roadmap
Now that the Chronicles release is behind us, it’s time to look more seriously at the future of Monsters’ Den. Here’s what will keep me busy for the next year or two:
2012 – Monsters’ Den Chronicles 2.0
Female characters. New monsters and items. And, hopefully, a campaign editor.
Late 2012 – Unnamed Strategy Game
I’m not ready to say much about this one. It will be set in the same universe, but it’s not an RPG.
2013* – Monsters’ Den Godfall
Company management. Overland travel. Randomly generated quests. I haven’t given up!
So, exciting times ahead! I had better get back to work.
*Let’s be honest: this one may be a little shaky.

Sounds great. Chronicles looked to me like it did well, and I hope you’ll find success in your future games too. Most of all I’m still looking forward to Godfall, and assume you won’t have all of the game’s content match your level. We like being able to go back and slaughter fights that gave us trouble in the past.

all i gonna say is, will any of your future monster’s den games have multiplayer as in PvP and maybe item trades and such, it would be awesome!

So excited for 2.0 version of chronicles. Campaign editor would be very appreciated addition to the series. Looking forward to it.

have you ever thought of releasing a free soundtrack or something? these games would be boring without the music!

I use royalty-free music. The licensing terms don’t allow me to release it by itself.

i am working on making a multi-launcher for the 3 monster’s den games in my downloadable version so you can only have one icon on your desktop instead of 3.

It depends on how quickly art can get done. I don’t expect it’ll be in the next month.

Hey garin, this is not related to anything above but I felt like playing your game again after about a month of being inactive in it, but it appears my save file has been erased
I had 5 characters with full LoS equipment. Is there any way to bring that save back?

I should also probably add that everytime I try to login into my account it asks me if I want to upload my save file, I click Ok and this error pops up “Services are temporarily unavailable. Please try again soon. (Error 1)”

What is worse is that I erased my save file and now everytime I begin the game I dont receive my 5 sparks of legend, what a bummer :/

everyone is complaining about cloud saving acting up weird, everyone is losing their characters, inventory, achievements. Please look into it when you get time.

This is terrible. The problem isn’t Chronicles-related though, its with Armor’s servers and is affecting a lot of different games.
That’s not any consolation to people who’ve lost their time invested, but there’s honestly nothing I can do about it. The amount of save problems this game has had have just been ridiculous.
